I’m in the newspaper. Not for anything I did, no, but as a body double for a 3rd year robotics student by the name of Hayley Fogg.
You see I made friends with some 3rd years during orientation week this year, doing student panels. Then a couple of weeks ago they had a presentation of robotics projects for some national competition and I was hanging around to watch that. Then my friends were asked to do a ‘team shot’ for a newspaper but two of them had already left so they asked Brad and me to fill in because, well I was a girl, and Brad was… well Brad.
So here is my random 5 minutes of fame as…. someone else…

This is a worry
My mind just won’t settle
Its 2.30 and I haven’t achieved much today. I’ve been studying since 9am but whatever I do my brain just goes around and around and around and around… Its frustrating and stressful. The more I think about it the worse it gets. I read a page over and over and nothing gets through.
Crap
I’m going for a walk – maybe some fresh air will do me good.
Bright

I’ve just returned from a weekend away with Colin in Bright. I had a fabulous time especially given I saw snow for the first time in 10 years and I saw a frozen over lake for the first time. Given I shrieked with excitement when I saw a frozen puddle, this was an amazing experience for me and of course I took about 50 photos with my camera phone 🙂 So here are a couple of my favorites taken from Lake Catani in Mt Buffalo National Park.
