TranceSexuals

I don’t know much about these guys except that Nay knows them and asked me to check it out and link to them if I liked it because they want more listeners.

Listen to the TranceSexuals at PureVolume.com

If you like the style of music, its pretty cool, if you hate the style of music you’ll hate it. Either way I quite like it and I think they definitely have some potential so please listen away.

Snow at Uni

Well not really, but today was the annual SUSS (Swinburne University Snow Squad) bring a whole bunch of snow onto campus and show off day sponsored by Red Bull. Really a whole lot of fuss over nothing this year as the ramp was about a third of the height of last years but it made for some funny photo’s.

To the left is this years pathetic excuse for a ramp.

Below is last years much more impressive ramp.

Last years event actually had some very funny moments when one snowboarder kept on falling on his arse and making a fool of himself and probibly hurting himself quite a bit and he got really angry and chucked a tanty 🙂

The weirdest shot from today however are of the melting the snow in the waterfeature thingy we have at uni at the end of the day…

I think I’m addicted to blogging

Last night blogger was down, I know because I checked it every 10-15 min to see if it was up again between 12 and 1am. This is a worry.

On the plus side I appear to have cracked 100 unique visitors! Admittedly its probibly a bit under that because the stat counter I use depends on cookies to determine the difference between returning visitors and new visitors but that’s still rather a lot as far as I’m concerned.

Hooray!

The Problem with Skype

I’m sure Skype is fantastic and brilliant however I have one teeny tiny little problem with making the most of it… I don’t actually know anyone who uses skype. I could just chat to randoms as some people apparently do however as much as I love to chat to randoms in writing I have a bizarre fear of talking to people I don’t know on the phone.

Funny story: I used to telemarket for Optus.

Yes, despite knowing that I had a fear of talking to people I didn’t know on the telephone I decided to get a job as a telemarketer.

I lasted about 2 weeks. For the first half of every shift I would be visibly shaking. The first person I called thought it was a prank call. By the time I had calmed down enough to cope properly it was time for break and the second half of the shift wasn’t much better. Then some horrible woman called me impudent for referring to her by her first name – as we were trained to – and she made me cry. Then I finally decided that telemarketing wasn’t for me and quit.

Worst two weeks of my life I swear!

Anyways until I convince my sister to download skype and buy a headset etc it will probably remain unused.
