Three Year Anniversary

Whats even weirder is that in just over a week I will have been living with him for two years.
And no one thought it would last…

Hmmm, dunno that that’s quite right. Don’t you have to be living together for a year to qualify as being defacto?
Or was it six months? I remember my brother (who has considerable experience in these things) joking that it’d been six months with his current ‘flame’, and that she had moved into the murky territory of “What’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is mine…”
“living with him for two years.”
If this is correct, isn’t it a mute point? I thought it was 6 months legally, I could be wrong!
